Battlefield Vietnam - Trailer

Battlefield Vietnam is a first-person shooter video game, the second in the Battlefield franchise after Battlefield 1942. The game was developed by the Swedish company Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield Vietnam takes place during the Vietnam War. It features a large variety of maps based on historical settings, such as the Ho Chi Minh Trail, Battle of Hue, Ia Drang Valley, Operation Flaming Dart, the Battle of Khe Sanh and Fall of Saigon.

I loved me some Battlefield Vietnam back in the day. I was terrible at it but that did not stop me from playing. Strangely enough most of the people I talk to that played consider it one of the weakest Battlefields of which I disagree. There were so many great aspects to the game such as the inclusion of local voip, genre appropriate music via vehicles which was fantastic.

Consensus seems to be Battlefield was a good game.

Agreed. Let's just say that I have a lot of "wrong" friends.

I played this, and almost all of the older Battlefield games, through my middle school days. Use to watch my step-dad play Battlefield 2 on PC almost everyday, so for my 13th birthday I begged for it. Day of he takes me to best buy and buys it for me. For Christmas I begged for the 1942 collection, came with Vietnam, and it was under the tree waiting for me. Obviously these games were outdated, 2002-2005, in 2011; but it was these game I spent more time playing than any other video game at the time. Honestly wish I still had my copy of Battlefield 2; That's probably my all-time favorite video game for me.
