1st Civilian Instant Meal Review

Postby Daley » Mon Jun 20, 2016 1:36 pm

Hey there guys of MREInfo. My name is Daley and I am a Youtuber and Reviewer. I mostly do gaming related reviews, however i've always strived to bridge the gap people put on most gamers. That is that we only do indoors activities, so I started doing reviews of survival gear boxes like Battlbox, Alpha Outpost and such. When I got into that i figured the natural route was to review some of the food that goes with that. In anycase here is my first review.

I started out with Backpackers Pantry, an outdoor camping style instant meal. Unfortunately for me it had a busted seal, and components missing but I tried to make it anyway. It called for 2 1/2 cups water which instantly made it soupy and gross. I could tell the overall food would have been good if it was all there. The menu item was Chicken with Gravy, Dressing and Potatoes. It featured some kind of peppers, corn, potatoes and such. Overall the quality was there its just a shame the meal was tampered with or messed up in shipping.

Price: $7.50
Quality: 7.5
Filling power: 8
Taste: 8.5

It tasted salty as hell. In my full video review I mentioned how salty it was. Such a shame that it was opened in shipping.
