Vegetable Manicotti in Tomato Sauce
Date Code: 7023
MFG: Sopakco
Rating: 4.3 [of 5 stars]

First, why 4.3?? Well the highest rating I've given was 4.5, although this meal was very good, it was not better then that.

If you like spinach manicotti you'll probably enjoy this meal. I expected to see 2 smaller manicottis in the pouch, but it was one really plump one in a bath of sauce. The sauce was very similar to the sauce used in meatballs in marinara sauce. I ate this meal with come leftover meatballs from the night before and there was ample sauce for them both. The pasta shell was nicely cooked and not at all soggy. The filling had a slightly gray color with noticeable spinach bits. The ingredients listed carrots but (thankfully) none where detected.

Sides:
This meal came with a carrot pound cake. It had a flavor pretty much like spice cake, very good. The meal also came with crackers and peanut butter (always very good). The only thing that would have made this better is some pepper flake packets like the chili came with.

Sorry, left my blackberry at home so no pictures today.

Adding meatballs to that entree is a great idea!
