1952 C-Ration B-3 unit

This can was so pristine, I was surprised to find the jam had exploded, thus ruining the crackers and cookie. The coffee and sugar were just fine for being 66 years old! The rest of it, however...I probably shouldn't have tried to eat😬

If you cut yourself with that you should probably get a tetanus vaccine :?
But aside from that its a really cool ration! and in a awesome shape, for another time, if you want to keep the can, try grinding the rim on the bottom part with a wetstone or similar, that way it will pop of and you get the can in perfect shape
I have Spanish rations permanently, feel free to ask :!:
Have tried: Croatian, Danish, Polish, English, German, Australian, Norwegian, Russian, Canadian, MCW and spanish rations.

Great vid! Always surprising to see the can in that good of shape, shame about everything inside though. Didn't look like they held up quite as well. That coffee though, almost always is still fine from what I've seen.
