LRRP Mains/Wt. Variance

Post by DangerousDave » Sat Apr 14, 2018 2:12 pm

 I finally busted open my last case of 2012 packed LRRP rats, opened all 12 bags at once, to check contents. Just dawned on me how each freeze-dried main has different net weights. Breaks down like this.
3 each Scrambled Eggs-Bacon/Western style Scrambled Egss. 2.65 Oz.
Chili-Mac. 4.80 Oz.
Seafood Chowder. 4.44 Oz.
Beef Stew. 4.94 Oz.
Beef Stroganoff. 4.59 Oz.
Oriental Chicken/Veg. 5.29 Oz.
Turkey Tetrazzini. 4.41 Oz.
Mexican Chicken Stew. 5.39 Oz.
Spaghetti/Meat Sauce. 4.30 Oz.
Chicken/Rice. 4.94 Oz.
They must have some pretty precision packing equipment at Oregon Freeze Dry Inc.

After the Chicken and the Egg, came the "Omelet"!
