The Prize Of Your Collection....

Postby Simon2002mre » Fri Sep 01, 2017 2:31 pm

What is on your shelf that you could never bring yourself to open? Something that when you found you thought you had struck gold?

I don't have one yet but I'm sure eventually I will! :D
Killed by rancid pound-cake. I know that will be on my tomb stone.

Since I'm still building up my collection and don't have anything yet that I consider a prized piece, I do have a C-ration fruit cake from Nov. 18th, 1974 that I'm quite happy to have. :D

Have a good one!

The shelf stable pizza (which I doubt that I'll never open unless I get an extra). And the RAFCO 82s..might be fresh & edible believe it or not! The 84s, which I have a few more loose ones, were perfect..this 82 is from the same lot.

I ate them all, but if for a small runner-up. This sealed 2-pack I kept in my pocket, back from McMurdo, 2008. Never saw these 2-packs anywhere else in history.

Was this packet for a Husband/Wife arctic team? Something to fight over in 30 below.

Awesome! I just won a bid on a 1951 B-2 Unit! Can't wait until I get it. That will be my #1 in my growing collection so far.
