First off, hello all and thanks for letting me in. I have been buying MRE's for a while, 1 because i have family of 5 and dont like the way things look economic wise, and also because i like the taste.....No, really i do.
I have 3 pallets of Wornick USGI MRE's made in 07/2009, and 09/2009, check/Inspect date 07/2012 & 09/2012. The problem i have is they got rid of my Veggy omlette & bacon hashbrowns and replaced it with maple sausage. The maple sausage is good and fine but the omlette is great, its my favorite. Is there a chance they will bring them back? What justifies them changing the menus and how often do they? I want my omlette back LOL.
Thanks, Hillbilly
Edited to add
Just read a bunch of posts on here and wanted to add, i have obtained all these LEGALLY and have proper receipts for them, dont have any wronfully obtained merchandise.

If you just want to buy more of the omelette entrees, you can get them here for $2.15 each: http://theepicenter.com/mre_military_me ... o_eat.html
If you want to trade the full Maple Sausage MRE packs for the full Omelette MRE packs, I have some available. I was about to buy some of the sausage entrees from The Epicenter anyway.
I may have some individual omelette entrees as well, if you just want to trade the sausage entrees, but I will have to dig though my stash.

They want $3.70 for the omlette and hashbrowns, i still dont get the cin scone, crackers, strawberry jam or pop tart at that price. Dont know that i want to rip open a bunch of cases just to get one meal out to trade when im not needing anything else out of the cases just yet. I appreciate the offer, might just find someone local (if possible) and trade for some older ones, as much as i hate to.

If you use Ebay, you can run across listings for the full MRE pack of the Omelettes, with all the sides.
Would probably cost in the neighborhood of $5 per MRE.

Here's a way you can pick up some omellete meals on Ebay, in case you are interested.

works out to about $5.40 per meal, including shipping.
