Re: Who makes the best reproduction WWII rations?

Very good videos. Wonder if the guys in Russia had read/seen Jim Pool's books on Rations of the Wehrmacht during WWII. Thanks man. Of course :D they are must have for this kind of stuff. We now have both of the books, the volume 2 came recently. https://www.facebook.com/crombatrations/photos/a.1296...

Re: Favorite International Ration?

#1 British Slovenian - Netherlands in top 3 (Polish rations are also winner) Oooo, Slovenian? Yup, freeze dried food bags from Travellunch, wet pouch from Jomipsa. Lots of other items inside of the bag made in various European countries. I always repeat myself saying it's most underrated ration.

Re: New Zealand 24Hr Ration Comparison: 2000 and 2015

The most interesting thing about NZ ratiom is how heavy it is when you are holding it, but then I checked the weight on a scale - nothing special. Take it in my hand - again heavy

It's somehow packed as a pro and all the weight is concentrated

Re: Who makes the best reproduction WWII rations?

Who makes the best and most accurate edible reproduction WWII rations? Does anyone do it properly? Best so far and edible I found in Russia. I've looked for a long time here and there, and started checking out Russian reenactors with really great stuff then I found who makes those rations. People w...

Re: Survival ration GP used in 2018. by US Armed Forces

OK, thank you. Please do share any future information you find out. My personal opinion is the other ration in a foil bag is much better packaged, but the contents of the classic survival ration in the box are way better. There is more then one type of the bars and they are packaged individually. In...

Re: Feedback - Buy/Sell/Trade

The "some guy" that Drew spoke to was someone from the manufacturer, who I would assume would know what they are talking about. I have never heard of reproduction or fake FPSGP's, and I can assure you that the cornflake bars were made only a couple months ago. In that case Drew can answer what kind...

Re: Feedback - Buy/Sell/Trade

Well that still didn't answer anything. If they stopped making these rations in 2013. why are they bringing them back in 2019. and what should I tell to someone asking are they real or not? Drew told me some guy told him the military just ordered them? And yeah there is this new ration pilots are us...
