French Customs?

Hey everyone, Just wondering if anyone has had any dramas with French customs shipping to another EU country (UK)? Is there anything like the US 'commercial resale is unlawful' rule that could see my rations confiscated on their way over here? If for some reason they are, is there a way of getting t...

Re: How to make my own big FRH?

According to http://www.natick.army.mil/about/pao/pubs/warrior/06/julyaug/index.htm a UGR-E has 4x heaters that are each equivalent to 10 FRH. Looks like that cooks up 4 tray-rats. So 10 FRH per tray. Would really be cool to get my hands on a real one but I'm guessing thats unlikely, although http:/...

Re: How to make my own big FRH?

Guess I will have to do it outside and away from any flame. The hydrogen should be what causes the pressure build-up so will just have to make sure there is some sort of release for it. It would be handy to see the heating element from UGR-Es or these coffee packs to see how they deal with it. Quite...

How to make my own big FRH?

Hi everyone, Bit of a weird topic but hear me out 8) I recently saw the post on: http://www.heatermeals.com/cafe2go/cafe2go-kits.html Which gives 18 cups of coffee out of a carton with an element like an FRH in it. Apparently its from the same firm that provide drinks for the UGR-E. This got me thin...

If you have no wagon to run it off, just remember, every 3rd tree in the forestry blocks on training areas has an electrical plug in it. Simples! :D

Re: Britman's First Strike Ration Review

Thanks Kman

PC, I got mine from www.armyrations.co.uk , reasonably priced too. Maybe you can get some from them shipped back over to you? Either that, or maybe you could get in touch with them and see if they have any contacts in the US they buy from who can hook you up with some?

Re: Heater Meals Coffee

Fair one. But does anyone know if these could ship to the UK? As it would seem to be pretty good way of getting hot brews for a group whilst on the go. Also, I'm willing to bet you could gut the chemical heater out of one of these and jury-rig it under a regular tray rat to kinda make an improvised ...
