Re: TTI INDICATORS: where to get some

Still researching these TTI's. Did find some companies on the net, but the wont give price, some labels are for $ 4.00 each with about 6 different temp levels. The TTI's we see on the Menu A/B 's cost (according to the article I found) .03 cents, yes three cents, but I dont know if they sell to the ...

Re: Lemon Poppy Seed Cake

Well Happy LATE Birthday! Just remembered my sisters birthday was this month also. I think I better get on that. I've tasted the Lemon Poppy Seed Cake once in a MRE. I was okay, but probably better if I warmed it up. Mrs. Housils cake looks better. I've especially always liked that icing on any cake...

Re: Cheeseburger in a can Part 2

Housil, I had second thoughts, I'd be willing to take the taste test, I do have medical insurance! Can that be shipped to USA? Look, Its pretty simple, just close yours eyes and take a bite. I might be able to get one from German_EPA. Yes! I'm talking about the cheeseburger, not the mac & cheese.

Re: Member Map Feature Added

KMAN, thats pretty neat , its good to know where the PREPARED people are, yet I wish there were more ICONS visible. So are we going to be the only survivors? It would be nice to see ICONS at the POLES! At least I know who my nearest neighbor is. I figured I'd see more in the south eastern states and...

Re: TTI INDICATORS: where to get some

I will look into this further and post results. I am going to one of the loading docks I used to work at. I know we had some fragile sensors on some of the cargo we handled, so they might know about temperature sensors or labels also. I guess I'm being to conscious (hope I spelled that right) about ...

Re: hillside coffee self heating

I tried two of these after seeing a co-worker with one. I think there were pretty costly and didnt give too many ounces for a good coffee drink. Wouldnt be bad to have for an emergency in the trunk, yet I dont know the shelf life of them. I did keep one can and was going to hack saw it in half to se...

TTI INDICATORS: where to get some

Anyone know of a company or similiar item that you can just paste on the cases of MRE's to monitor the environment? I did a search on the internet, but only found what the TTI's are and not about buying some. I'm sure there are other ways to do this. For me right now, I just have a wireless temperat...

Re: Hooah Bars

Didnt find any Hooah Bars at Sams Club - this is a small Sams I go to, others might have it. They have energy bars to say, but only good for about 1 year or so after checking all the dates on the boxes. Don, I will check at Walmart for the bars next time I get overthere, thanks for the info. I also ...

Re: It´s real winter over here

What you guys & gals complaining about? I would like for it to be cool all the time. Now I have to worry about keeping MRE'S at a good temp here in South Texas this summer. Even on a daily basis the weather changes 40°, summer time gets to the 100's. When its about 60° F here in Texas the town basic...

Re: MRE Menu No. 7 BEEF STEW and Menu No. 9 PORK CHOW MEIN 1995

Nice and Good review, GOOD JOB! The oldest I have is 1995 so I have a bit to wait before a good review and if I dont tap into the box anymore its my only and oldest case. I did try some 2005 (we thought maybe 1995 - not sure)Taster's Choice coffee that was black (gun powder) and regular in appearanc...
