Re: Cheeseburger in a can Part 2

ummm..... never tried one. It's a novel idea, don't get me wrong. I've heard horror stories from my pop about the infamous "beans and mother@#$ers" he'd been eating while hunting Charlie and his nasty little cousin, Nathaniel Victor, but this is lethal looking. I had actually thought about buying so...

Re: 2009 omlette and sausage patty question

probably a production overrun. I think the whole thing sucks, myself.
Bring back the original Ham Omelot, and put the hashbrowns back in,too.
I understand that there are now two breakfast menus, something I always felt was lacking in the ration selection.
Ah, for the good 'ol days.....

Re: Could you live off MRE's????

Good post. guys. Here my thoughts for your consideration- I went through 16 cases of MREs in one year. Six cases were dated all the way from '90-93, and the rest were 2005 production, just so we're on the same page. I was homeless for months, and I have had the distinction of living off of them for ...

Re: Good deal?

I haven't gotten around to ordering any yet. i have called them because their server is SWAMPED. they assured me they have plenty of MREs in stock. As for the packing dates, i'm not sure...but it won't stop me from getting them. My understanding is that they are current production, only better packe...

Re: Good deal?

Personally, i think getting them off of ebay sucks anymore. I can get two cases for $89.00 on armygear.net plus whatever their shipping is. i do buy loose ones when I get the itch, to help fill up empty cases, and for my work bag, because it seems more and more that the MRE is the only lunch that se...

Don't open til' Doomsday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My teammates would just smile and roll their eyes, but I've got this absurd hobby now. I have an empty MRE case, and in this case, I put all my spare MRE components. I'm talking strictly my favorite items . Seeing as how them bastards just get rid of good items at their leisure, I'm forced to hoard ...

MCI review 1977 dated

I went to Knob Creek this last October, and lo and behold, I found MCIs for sale. I bought the following: Two B-2 and three B-3 cans, and....(drumroll,please...)a can of poundcake, dated 1977, exactly 32 years old, and I'm 33...anyways, when I got home, i fired up a fattie and decided to plunge in a...

Will be searching for rations......

:D well, looks like i'll be working again really soon, and want to restock on some rations/ rotate stock. Anyone out there wish to maybe part with some MREs for cash? I'd like to get my hands on some old brown bag MREs and maybe try out some British 24 hour packs if possible.

I ate the WHOLE case, not wanting them to just lie around.....kept refilling my backpack with them, as i was semi-homeless, these were great for at least making sure i had something to eat. they were all very, very good. The scariest to eat was Chicken Ala King and the Four Fingers Of Death(Beef Fran...
