WWII - End of War Troop Transport Ship Newspaper & Welcome Aboard Instructions Scanned Original Documents

At the end of the war, my gpa took a few different ships back to the US mainland and ultimately arrive back in October of 1945. These are the documents he was handed on his transports back during that time. Enjoy! Just for fun, I'll also included a pic of what I believe is surubachi. Also , If any o...

Re: MREviews: Menu 23 Chicken Pesto Pasta

Yes, agreed great review! However that pesto and apple turn over looks sad! Hey as long as you ate it all, the military considers that a success! Even with the brown pesto :D I totally agree that the beverage bases IMO only need about 1/2-2/3 what it calls for if you want any sort of real flavor. .....

Re: 2018 Canadian IMP Poutine Menu 15 - Review - Reuploaded

Great vid. I have had poutine when living just outside Buffalo (20min from the border) and was hoping to see this one reviewed. Smitty will be checking this one out soon too, i think. I need to get my hands on one of these, eventually. Thanks VIPER. Give it a shot man. Seems to be quite a divisive ...

Re: French rations, price

Dang. I was wondering. Sorry you guys had to go through that.

I bought a type 09 ration from a seller in china. Will let you know how that one goes... haha! Price wasn't too much of cut from US based sellers so hoping for the best!

Re: LTB - Food Packet Survival General Purpose!

*bump. Still interested in finding some of these. Specifically the center scored "spam cans" pre late 1980's and also interested in a current generation version. Oh heck, I'd probably buy another 1988 one again. The 1990 one was was rough but the 1988 I just opened was still perfectly fresh! Just ha...

2018 Canadian IMP Poutine Menu 15 - Review - Reuploaded

https://youtu.be/pfuA6sO3U4c Here we have the first look on youtube at the 2018 Canadian IMP (Individual Meal Pack) Menu #15 Poutine. What a truly uniquely Canadian Military ration experience. This ration has been in service since 2014 and I can certainly see why! It's an excellent menu! This ration...

Re: Camera angle's

Dang smitty! That camera looks legit... you could do some macro close ups with that analog zoom capability! Show that texture! I could see having the camera above like that would be nice. I'm always have to dodge around my camera stand since its right in front of me but I'm getting use to it! Thanks...

Re: Camera angle's

Hey andy and smitty. I think we are the "new review guys" so I'll be glad to share what I'm doing with you fine fellows... Obviously, inspiration taken from steves and other similar setups. Camera angle is continuing to be difficult. Where you want the closest possible shot but you still need to fit...
