So you see icarus, is not easy to get a store für 6 or 9 month. My supply needed 4 years or 5 to get like this. jubifahrer I've got a ton of space, but I guess I wasn't thinking of the cost right away. Wow, 4 years, seems like a long time, but it makes sense. Do you rotate any of the older food int...

Awesome photos!!! A year or 9 months sounded good until I did cost calculations over the weekend. Now it's looking more like 3 months for 4 people. I can store in my basement, but would love the luxury of underground storage somewhere on the property. As far as the water goes, I will store so...

Thanks.

I actually just purchased some MH stuff to test out. The freeze dried food is much more expensive, but I guess if I buy it over time (maybe a month or 2 at a time), I may be able to build up a nice six or nine month supply, possibly mixed in with MRE's and some canned goods.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the response! So, is it safe to assume that a case of 12 includes 12 dinner meals, and that i would have to puchase breakfast meals separately? At this stage I'm looking to purchase 72 hours worth for my famil for emergency needs, and then rotating them somewhere down the future (putting ...

New to MRE's

Hi, I am very new to MRE's but am looking to store some for emergency preparedness measures. I have gone through the main website here a bit, and am still somewhat unsure how to go about purchasing the MRE's (what to look for, etc.). From what I gather it doesn't seem like one gets to choose which i...
