Re: Breakfast Cocoa type 1?

Scrolling through eBay and came across something I don't think I've seen before. I'll have the link attached below. Just wondering if anyone had any information about this interesting piece. Thank you! Link: https://m.ebay.com/itm/US-Hershey-Chocolate-Cocoa-Breakfast-Type-1-Tin-Ration-MRE-Can-1-Pou...

1952 RCI B-2 Unit

Hey everyone, I recently purchased an RCI B-2 Unit dated July, 1952. Best deal I could find on eBay. It is now the oldest ration in my collection. This is my first RCI B-2 Unit and I though I'd share it with you all. 65 years of goodies sealed in a can! Since this is my only one at the moment, I wil...

Re: My First MCI (Ham and Lima Beans)

$40, I'm not sure how much MCIs are worth, but compared to most prices on eBay, I think I got a pretty good deal. Ya the ones I'm seeing are like 75.00 - 80.00 I know! This one was a bid win, so I think I got pretty lucky. Excellent! Amazing deal, especially with the cigs. I just won a bi...

Re: K ration value

Unless it's gold plated that is way too high! I saw one on eBay a couple weeks ago with a "buy it now" price of $200

Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
If you do open one, which menu do you think you'll open?
Take care.

Classic MRE crackers

Hey everyone, Hope you are all having a good day. Nothing too special, just some good ol' crackers from a 1995 US Military MRE. This is my first time taste testing crackers from 95'. How ever not the oldest I've tried. The oldest I've had were from a 1974 B-2 Unit. These crackers held up after 22 ye...

Re: Ingredients blacked out? 1986 MRE fruitcake.

Perhaps they had left over boxes from a previous batch for a different type of fruitcake. Instead of throwing them away, they reused them by covering the ingredients? That makes sense. You're probably right. I took a closer look at the box and there seems to be a bit more glue than usual on the sea...

Re: Ingredients blacked out? 1986 MRE fruitcake.

Hi everyone, Today I received an MRE from 1986. Everything is in great shape! The fruitcake that came with it had the ingredients blacked out. Anyone know why this was done? Thanks. - JT1991 You know it was maybe something dumb, like someone just did, for no reason. I don't know why anybody would h...

Ingredients blacked out? 1986 MRE fruitcake.

Today I received an MRE from 1986. Everything is in great shape!

The fruitcake that came with it had the ingredients blacked out. Anyone know why this was done? Thanks.
