Little side note This German ration has a date or "model" label of 2013, but most of the components inside were made in 2014 (the canned rye bread has a 2013 date). The number from the sticker "BV I 2013" does not refer to the year, it´s just a random number for packing that accidentally looks like ...

Only for MRE enthusiast, but they are "worthless" until you find one guy that will pay a higher price .

They are freezedried and MH guarantees a shelf life of 30 years for their products.

Sep 4th we start for another 3 days 125km bike-hike ("donkey trail"). Going by train 2.5hrs north before driving all the way back criss-cross the "Spessart" woods.
