Re: MREs vs. Freeze Dried Food Kits

So if its an on the go situation and you have a source of water or a reliable water purification system and water then it may be preferable just by weight. That said your adding prep time to you food. You want something you ...

Pretty awesome. Wonder house they stack up to the instant scrambled eggs you end up getting as breakfast at so many U.S. budget friendly hotels.

Re: Airlines & MREs w/Heaters in Checked Luggage

When I travel I try to hit up army surplus and survival stores. I've flown back with full MRE's out of several places. A few times in checked luggage, a few times in plane side checked luggage(small planes) and even on carry on. Never had an issue. However I've never started digging into one on the ...

Re: MRE-like Retort Pouches in Your Local Grocery Store

I've tracked these down and tried a couple. Pretty good and may make a video on them. One thing for sure is they have a much shorter listed shelf life than the mil-spec pouches. But I have to say they were excellent. So good in fact the little lady took a few out of my haul for lunch. So pretty inte...

Re: North Korean Ration?

Interesting question. I'm betting they take some of the pressed bar queue from china. Although it sounds like they eat better than most and even at times get food that would get normal people shot. Check this video out and at 7:14 they start talking about meats and how the military gets the cow/oxe ...

Re: YouTube Monitization Issues

I was wondering how that was affecting you guys. I know the gun related crowds have been slammed hard. Wonder if its because military related? Heck really all you pro reviewers are all about passing out useful information. Not sure why youtube would be knocking you guys out. Hope they get you sorted...

Re: EVALUATION OF THE RATION, COLD WEATHER DURING A 10-DAY COLD WEATHER FIELD TRAINING EXERCISE

Good Read. I hope they scaled up the experiment. A sample size of 10 soldiers isn't nearly enough for a representative sample.

Lol and lowered the sodium intake. Eh how high was it?

Thanks for sharing that!
