Re: Low sodium meals

I found the review... I may pick up a case to try it out. At $20 per case, adding spices may not be all that bad.

Low sodium meals

Do they have the same shelf life as regular MREs? Do they taste bland? My local store just got in several pallets and I need to grab a few cases if they are good for storage and taste good. Don't want to buy a case just to find out they need salt to taste good.

Apple dessert

At my local discount store,, they had a pallet of 92 oz apple dessert. Is this just like apple filling, or does it have a crust? Re: MRE prices

I've been buying Sopako for $20 a case, up to $30 for the other civilian type MRE's. I would love to find some military for $40. Where do you get your Sopako cases? I would love to find a decent case that cheap. At a freight damage/old stock kinda store. They are sold out at the moment, but usually...

Re: Croatian canned meat

I love the pics. Some people I know are preparing for hard times ahead, but refuse to go out if it is cold and snowy, much less camping in it.
Personally, I love cold weather, but hates a hot summer day. Cooking a meal outside is a fun thing to do, even in the snow.
