Re: What kind of ration box is in this photo?

I asked my two Korean friends specifically about SPAM and Corned Beef this morning. They said in general terms SPAM was eaten in many different ways. To use an exact phrase "We eat all kind of way" ''Cold, hot, fried, baked, with rice, with egg'' with vegetable. ''We like in many combinati...

Re: Translation Cam

Re: [First Post]1963 seven oceans emergency ration

Welcome
I must say I am fascinated with civilian emergency meals made for boating, wilderness survival or the Cold War bomb shelter.
Looking forward to reading about any information found on these rations

Re: Eating and reviewing unknown food and drinks

I try to prepare before taking a ration camping if I do not know the Language. The Russian Ration I tried at home before taking a second meal to the field . Then I tried to get translation from native speakers. Myself found the Russian meals to be good in almost ever case. Only a few items I found t...

Great review, very detailed descriptions and I like different perspective The background, the area looks beautiful. Also the shelter half with interesting camouflage pattern. Who did that belong to in past years ? Is it a Warsaw Pact item or from a NATO army such as Italy? The pork ribs look very go...
