My "Hot-Pouch" is Reflectix [or a windshield sun protector] in a leftover USPS priority mail Tyvek envelope, both cut down to size for a pair of the MRE retorts. I had one for years, [ever since Scouting days] but now that I've got the fork, I cain't find the bloody spoon.
Big enough for some serious entrenching mouthfuls [before the chow goes cold...]

I have a chance to go to an Army base PX in a couple weeks, and I was wondering what peoples experience about finding MREs in stock there might be?
I wouldn't mind the opportunity got a couple of please more recent rations. Almost everything I've got is at least six years old, if not 10.

I know that RockyRaab and I are already pretty well known as the "hotheads" on here [at least as far as hot sauces go...], and I am always surprised when I hear people say that they don't like hot/spicy foods. I know the DOD tones things down as far as the actual meal paks go, but I have to warn you...
