Re: Looking to buy: German EPa II, III or Australian CR1M

Keep an eye on the Australian eBay site. There was a guy selling all the various menu's. They're pretty pricey though. They go for about $50 AUD a pop and if you're in the states you have to tack on another $20 or so (Guessing) in postage. $70 for a ration is a bit expensive for me. I got one off a ...

Re: Feedback - Buy/Sell/Trade

As I said, I preffer to send another round of parcels to both Apocalypse and Bypah, this time registered and priority, hope this time will come. Strange, my parcel for NNF (sent in the same day, same hour, from same office as Bypah's) took only 6 working days to arrive at his home. But unknown are ...

I was just thinking the same thing! Toxic, was this post saved as a draft until just recently?

Nope posted this ages ago. Was bit mystified as to why I didn't get any responses to be honest  Glitch in the system maybe?

Glad you all liked the post.

Hi Guys, I opened my CR1M the other day and took some shots. I haven't eaten everything yet but had a go at most of the stuff. Here we go: First a pic of the open pack spread out. A lot of food here. IMG_0829.JPG This is a pic of the accessories pack: IMG_0831.JPG The first main meal I had was the c...

British 24hr Ration - Menu 9 - 08/10

Hi guys, I'm not going to do a full review of the ration pack as Hair-FIN has just done a mega review of the menu 10 pack here: http://www.mreinfo.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5051 . I'll just concentrate on the main meals as the rest of the pack is identical to the menu 10 covered in Hair-FIN's ...

Re: South African Defense Force Rations

Oh wow! I used to eat these as a kid when my dad went on his camps and brought them back for us. Good memories. They look to have changed a bit with the content. There used to be a breakfast cereal called "Pronutro" with every pack, which was mixed with water, as well as a milkshake powder that had ...

Re: RCIR Menu 6

I've also just received a new British 24 hour pack which I'll do a review on soon. It's a menu 6, main meal is Lamb. There's a large amount of food in this pack, reminds of the Aussie rat packs in that respect. Funnily enough, most of the food components in the British pack are made in New Zealand, ...

Re: RCIR Menu 6

Hi rationtin440, Nice review and pics, ToxicCarbon! One thing I've been curious about with the French RCIR menus---- the main entree items that are designed to be eaten without heating, in this case the salmon salad; would there be any significant loss of taste or other negative result of heating th...
