I got very tired of luke warm meals very quickly, considering all the trouble I had to go through to get the MRE's in the first place! I usually boil them on full boil for about 10 minutes and they come out great. The pouches ...

Want to trade: Aussie CR1M menu F

Hi All, There seems to be a lot of interest in the Aussie rat packs and I happen to have an F menu packed 2011 which I would be willing to trade for another 24hr type ration pack. Each person pays own postage, must have tracking. PM if you're interested. I've already tried British, Spanish, French, ...

Yeah bro, still waiting for the items you agreed to trade from over a year and a half ago. Maybe you should pay your debts before trying to trade for more on this forum? I spent $100 on the stuff I sent you and I'm still waiting for something to arrive.

Re: Commercial version of AUS ration?

The link you posted has the packs for 38AUD while there are several listing on ebay for the real thing for 40AUD buy it now. Might as well get the real deal if you're prepared to pay that price. This seller has a couple o...

Re: RCIR Camembert

I had one of those last week when munching my way through an RCIR. I didn't know it was goats cheese, just thought it was the regular cheese spread 8) It was really tasty too.

Re: Spanish Combat ration for muslim staff - Lunch A Menu 2

Okay in the interests of doing a complete review, here are the rest of the items including the offending tin of squid :D So after the plain tasting chick peas, I was left with a tin of squid in oil and a small tub of quince jelly. IMG_1563.JPG First up I tackled the tin of squid, close up of the tin...

Re: Spanish Combat ration for muslim staff - Lunch A Menu 2

The Spanish rations also have a squid in ink sauce meal. I love squid but could do without the ink sauce! I bet the squid in oil is "A" ok. Haha, this is the exact meal that I had a problem with! It didn't come out of a rat pack but was purchased locally from some roadside food stall in the Congo. ...

Re: Spanish Combat ration for muslim staff - Lunch A Menu 2

Yeah it's more the squid in oil that I don't like. I had a bad experience with a tin of squid previously, never again! But deep fry the squid in batter and I'm there every time :D
