Re: Need help pricing Menu I MRE's (1983) to sale

Hey Snackdaddy - I'll take them off your hands for $20. I live in central Florida, and I'd pay up to $15 shipping. Only issue is - I don't get paid until Monday.(actually Sunday but I cannot deposit until Monday.)

What payment method did you have in mind?

Re: Old Sealed MRE Cases

Thankyou for the advice, fellas! Yeah he lowered it to $85 and the shipping is still too high - at $35 plus the fact this specific Ebayer is notorious for slow shipping... I'm not sure if I will bid. :( I REALLY want to get this case, though because if I do - I'll have new material to post in the MR...

Re: Old Sealed MRE Cases

After shipping it costs $200! Is that normal for a sealed case of Vintage MRE's nowadays? We should move that in the "Ebay asshats section"... A start bid of $165 for a case of 1987 MREs is ridiculous. I thought it was ridiculous too - I want the darn thing but $165 + 35 shipping is at LE...

Old Sealed MRE Cases

I'm wanting to buy a old sealed case of MRE's (1981-1991.. even 1993-1994) but I'm not really sure what they cost nowadays. I found this guy on Ebay trying to sell a sealed 1987 case... http://cgi.ebay.com/Desert-Storm-Era-Meal-Ready-Eat-Sealed-Case-12-/130549007537?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=it...

Re: Halal Certifed U.S. MRE's

Here's what I had for dinner - these have some very commercial products in them (The Nature Valley bars, etc) and I would question long-term storage (anywhere past 5 or so more years.).

Halal Certifed U.S. MRE's

I just bought a case of Kosher MRE's off Ebay for $62.50 including shipping and just got them in the mail. These are pretty neat because there are no items with MSG, Trans-Fat, Aspartame, Sucralose, or anything extremely high in sugar. I would say menu fatigue is probably a common issue among our et...

Re: Brownie, Chocolate Covered

Hi Steve! That sudden numbing feeling will stop you dead in your tracks, won't it? I once sampled a early-70's Cinnamon Nut Roll cake from the old MCI and let me tell you. First, it was just a pinch but the cinnamon had apparently become concentrated as it started to burn my tongue. After that the ...
