Re: Russian RPMK 6 Man Ration unboxing

What an awesome score- nice work to Sniper for finding this one for Shawker - and thanks so much much Shawk for sharing it with us! I love the fixed blade P-38 style can openers. And the dried kasha blocks seem pretty hardy.

Re: North Korean Ration?

Here is what I could find, Simon. These picture are back when Kim Jong Il was still running the show - and apparently this ration looks to be just freeze dried rice, season and oil packet, and perhaps dried fish? It is hard to tell.

Re: 3 different size grab bags

I'm really sorry to hear about your Ma, Bob. I hope she will be okay, stay strong and make it through her treatment. I wish I could throw down for a box, but funds are a little limited and having to stock up on supplies - FL is in a state of emergency with a cat 5 on the way and good chance it...

Re: Civil Defense Carbohydrate Supplement Tin

Re: Customs Horror Stories Pertaining to Destroying Rations

You know, this one I am expecting to pay a $25 fee for customs - the last one was a British ORP and they removed the beef main. Charged me $25. If I am lucky, I can contest this one if they go after me because first off, there was no meat/dairy. Second, they destroyed a 56 year old historical relic....
