1945 RAF Emergency Flying Ration MK lll

This is a British Royal Air Force Emergency Flying Ration MK lll. It weighs 5 1/2 oz - this sleek little tin would be part of a more comprehensive bailout kit that contained water, a carrier for the water, a signal mirror, and a few other essential items. The MK lll is primarily quick absorbtion car...

Re: Opened a case of 1966 MCIs!

What a true time capsule. And a cool experience to meet another member and then tear into a case of treasure like that. I hope you guys cherish and enjoy those MCIs if you happen to indulge. Save me some pineapple jam! 8)

Re: (Unknown Year) Food Packet, Long Range Patrol Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

Thank you for the detailed review with great photos :D ! I don't know what year this was produced as I couldn't find any indicator on the packaging (I looked everywhere, I swear!). I'd hazard a guess that it was produced anytime in the late 70s to the early 80s. Any help on determining a date would...

Re: Gotta love ebay.

The back of your case has a 6-97 (I think it was 6-97 if my memory serves) - I saw that case on Ebay. Knew it was a 1997 and thought it was going to skyrocket for that reason. Wish I'd had the foresight of buying them like they are 2017s and then getting a refund. Not bad! Your brown baggers are 198...

Re: 1989 RCW case

I have searched for a case of RAFCOs for a pretty long time. It is a relief to finally acquire one. Case unboxing and reviews on all menus.

Re: The MCW Burst!!

Oh man that's a bummer Simon. I wonder what could have punctured the beef stew before it was packed like that? What a weird cast of bad luck too. Whatever nastiness that was going on in there, it must have permeated the rest of the component's packaging. Was everything else no good too because of it...

Re: WW2 US D ration *Ebay Find currently $102

Good feedback (100%), and a member since 2005.... Id say the seller is good, but isnt positive on its authenticity... Just my 2 cents from the description... I agree - the box has not one bit of wax left on it - and those boxes were wax dipped. Now the early ones were foil wrapped and even some pap...
