One of my old Army units the 14th Cavalry took part in guarding the Fulda Gap during the Cold War from the late 1940's until the late 1970's. I remember this history from my unit although I did not serve until MUCH later.

The seller lists the inspection date as 2012 - meaning they were packed in 2009 too. If you buy (3) cases you should have more than enough to feed 3 people for 3 days - each eating (3) MRE meals a day.

After searching Ebay UK Housil hooked me up with a case so just waiting for delivery! After I get these I think I might order a few of those Multi-Climate rations
