First Strike Ration Availability

He said that they are not available for stateside training, etc....

Re: MRE Prototype DoP 1975

Does anyone have a pic of the MRE gorilla cookies? Reason I ask is I don't think I have ever seen those before? Its not the Chocolate covered Oatmeal cookie or Brownie, Chocolate covered is it? Re: CheaperThanDirt: T-rat/poly-trays & bulk components

I noticed that they had a bunch of T-Ration entree's too a few weeks ago. I wish some vendor would get the Poly-Tray's from Sterling Foods or Pangea World Bakers (those are the dessert poly-trays!). Cheaper Than Dirt's Poly-Trays are all from Ameriqual and so are most of the others I have seen, I ne...

Re: PROTOTYPE FOOD PACKET ASSAULT

Looks kinda of like the Canadian LMC but I wonder if the food bars are dehydrated or ready to eat? OR I wonder if they are just beef jerky bars... Never seen one of those!

Re: Date codes 2010

I was thinking it might be a Julian date, but I don't think so. Must be a internal dating / batch code used by that MFG., it is out of specs though because I believe all MRE packaging according to contract must be dated as shown in the other pics but maybe that has changed...

Re: RCW

Interesting, I thought that box style was only for the newer meal cold weather and the older RCW's came in the more "flat" case like the old MRE's. But I notice the rations have the peelable seal so these must have come out right before the transition to the MCW. Do they still have the cho...
