Yes I am expecting a few packages also coming from Europe - regular airmail transit times have been at least 1+ month so far.

I was just assuming you would need to measure out a small amount and bake accordingly (minus pouch of course) the amount of batter to bake would be similar to that in the MRE pouch. But I don't know for how long and what temp, I think a professional baker will be able to fill us in.

I would give this recipe a try but I know I will jack it up. So whoever makes a batch of this nutcake please post a useable "easy to read" recipe for us non cooking inclined!

I was able to finally find the specifications for the old nutcakes online! If you scroll down you will notice the .PDF "Revision C" that is the one for the Nut Cakes! In regards to the UK rations vs US MRE's, I actually prefer the UK rations I like the fact that the UK rations are a full 24 hour ration. You can pick what you want to carry out with you on ops like field stripping an MRE without having to draw 3 full rations. The new UK Multi-Climate rations seems ...
