Re: British Multi Climate Rations Different Trial Menu's

Housil, Yes the mfg. website only lists 20 menu's that I can see. But does not list the menu of Vege, halal, etc... + I am thinking there are other menu variations that are older or possibly even more current than what is listed on their website. I am thinking there is a handout that comes with the ...

British Multi Climate Rations Different Trial Menu's

Lately I have been searching around about the newer British Multi Climate Rations, I noticed starting in I think 2009 it seems that the MOD sent a mixture of 20 menus combined with vegetarian, halal, Sikh etc. for trial in Afghanistan. What I read seems to me to say that these were initial trial men...

Hahah, you must have had an old one. The last T-rat omelet W/ ham I had in 2003ish was actually pretty good I remember.

Re: Military camp weekend & convoy

One of my old Army units the 14th Cavalry took part in guarding the Fulda Gap during the Cold War from the late 1940's until the late 1970's. I remember this history from my unit although I did not serve until MUCH later.

Re: Mcw eggs

Yes the MCW freeze dried egg entree's taste 100% better than the newer MRE Omelet version. I do however think the old MRE omelet W/ ham is better than the MCW version and even better than that is the Tray Ration (yes the aluminum can version!) It is a few pounds of MRE omelet W/ Ham but VERY hard to...

Re: Need some advice.

You should look for the "First Strike Ration" this one package provides one full days meal for one person. They are difficult to find though on Ebay but you can contact TREESUIT a member here who offers his own version of the FSR. Regular MRE's such as when this seller is listing on Ebay y...

Re: Need some advice.

The seller lists the inspection date as 2012 - meaning they were packed in 2009 too. If you buy (3) cases you should have more than enough to feed 3 people for 3 days - each eating (3) MRE meals a day.
