I wish I could find the article I was reading as it was along the lines of that MREs are authorized for PX sale. If the local PX doesn't have them, they can order them. I'll see if I can dig it up and post it here.

are you timing them with a watch? 10-15 minutes is a long time to wait when you're hungry. I find that my main problem with the FRHs is that I don't wait long enough. If I can, I like toss the whole thing in boiling water for 10 minutes. That way I know it's going to be steaming hot when I open it up.
I seem to recall reading somewhere that current and retired military personnel with PX privileges can purchase MREs there. So if you know anyone that is at present serving or has in the past they might be able to help you out.

I am keeping detailed notes as to contents, taste testing, etc. as I work my way through them. So once I've finished that I will post here. Perhaps I should post what I have so far and keep editing the post, or adding to it as I go along?
My 2011 Menu C pouch contents didn't at all match the posted menu lists. Even pouches labelled the same would have different contents. Better than nothing if it's all you can get.

Yeah, this ebay moron is talking out of his ass. The whole "SF" thing was talked about at length in the following 2007 thread: http://www.mreinfo.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=909 And I can tell you from personal experience that the Menu C case of "SF" MREs had a lot less food in them than the leg...
