Re: Huge Lot of military surplus for sale

I'm interested to see what the collection entails. Is it mostly ration related or just military in general?

Re: US MRE packaging site

I have some friends in Evansville - the whole place is pretty well locked down. They don't sell rations to the public at all on site and don't offer tours or anything else for that matter. It's the Ameriqual plant btw. US MREs are also packaged in Texas and South Carolina (Wornick and SoPakCo). The ...

Re: Soylent 2.0

Just wanted to put an update out there. I got gifted a bottle of Soylent at the meetup in Doswell, then got gifted a case of it from my brother in law when he noticed the bottle in my travel gear. I've since bought a number of cases of original, cacao, and coffiest and I'm pretty much half and half ...

Great review - thanks for sharing it with us. Just to clarify - was the stone a pit from something, or an actual rock? Always great to see something brand new on here

Re: Russian space food ..

Always good to find a new source! Sounds like there's a chance he'll have the FSB Mountain Rations, wouldn't mind finding another one of those eventually. Just keep in mind that the space food that's on the site right now is a commercial product available in vending machines in Russia. It might come...

Re: Looking For Russian Mountain Ration

I bought mine from Onepamop and actually just posted my review tonight here . I don't know if/when he might get more, but you can trust that if he says they're the actual mountain rations that they will be just that and not an IRP in a FSB tray. Good luck, they're really a great ration to experience.

Russian FSB Mountain Ration

http://i.imgur.com/THQNZOa.jpg http://i.imgur.com/piYk0c8.jpg http://i.imgur.com/47yJ7GE.jpg I chose to break this up according to the insert's guidelines. The insert itself translated fairly well. It identified the ration as being for mountain areas, and broke up the contents into breakfast, lunch...

Re: ISO Oatmeal Cookie Bar Compressed

I know it's a bit of a tease right now, but I have a bunch - at least a dozen at the moment. I have more of the cornflake bars than oatmeal cookie ones though. They're all back home in Montana, and now it looks like I'll be on the East coast until almost December - so if you can wait that long I'd b...
