Re: British 24h ORP Sesame Seed Bars

I've eaten a bunch of British rat-packs over past couple years, thanks to Foreignmre and other suppliers. I agree with Rahzmataz on these. Maybe good for last resort emergency food kit only. The British Army should coat their grenades with this stuff for extra fragmentation effect.

Re: 2014 Food Packet, Survival, G.P.

This one had odd 'over-stickers' on most items. I carefully peeled back the '4035' sticker on the outer box. It had '3189' printed on the box. The cornflake bar had no sticker, and had a tiny stamp '3031'. I tryed a shortbread bar today at work. Not a problem. Taste the same as the day it was packag...

Re: British 24 Hour Ration Packs

They've gotten a bit bland lately, or something. Of the several I've tryed from my seller in Texas, I love the Mexican Tuna-Pasta, the Mango cake, the chocolate pudding in choc. sauce, the sticky toffee pudding, and those freakin mint and orange flavour hot chocolate packets. Everything else is OK. ...

LRRP Mains/Wt. Variance

 I finally busted open my last case of 2012 packed LRRP rats, opened all 12 bags at once, to check contents. Just dawned on me how each freeze-dried main has different net weights. Breaks down like this. 3 each Scrambled Eggs-Bacon/Western style Scrambled Egss. 2.65 Oz. Chili-Mac. 4.80 Oz. Sea...

French RCIR Beef w. Carrots

From a 2016 packed #13. Very excellent. Like 'Dinty Moore' beef stew, with huge amount of carrots instead of potatoes. Damn good eating, for Americans. Looks like they discontinued it. Oh well.

Re: MRE chocolate

I've ordered a few of those Polish 24hr. Rats from Lech. Every one had a a perfect CHOCOYOCO 100 gram 60% dark chocolate bar. Non were bloomed, but one was melted and liquid chocolate when I got it, cause hot weather. Did not leak. I stuck it in frig. OK in and hour. Those Poles do some decent choco...

Looks like an air-crew survival ration. Never seen one. Very nice.
