What it appears to be. Does the job. The jerk-beef is fine. Scraps from production floor, but not bad. Something is better than nothing. Should be a hit with ops guys in the field. No problem. Team 1 of these with a first gen recovery trail mix. Winner. 8) Recovery Mix 2 002.jpg[/attac...

I can get 2020 packed MRE's at U.S. Commissary, but have to pay U.S. Gov't cost + 5% surcharge. That means about $125/case. Only James Bond can afford that, so.
Steve was spot-on in his review, except he had the generation 1 Trail Mix-recovery. I'm afraid to open it, until I get a spare.

What happened to the fairly easy availability of foreign rations shipped to USA? I must have spent 2K on various foreign rats from 2014-2018. Now, can't get anything in US. WTF? Over. Never bothered me spending $40-50 on a fresh RCIR or EPa, etc. etc. MRE mountain went Toes-Up, the guy in Texas does...
Upon reading the ingredients, not the same as standard Trail Mix-Recovery. This one has cranberries, beef-jerky and almonds. Period. I bet, if you combine the first type with the pretzel-balls, peanuts and other nuts, it would be a binary-explosion, of Uncle Sam Recovery. LOL
yea, E-Bitch wranglers doing that, but, depending on where somebody is located, near a CONUS, lots to be had. I have 18 cases dated Inspect '21-'22. Near Ft. Lee, only 1 C-virus on Post, stupid-ass from Cowabunga National Guard, at least he ID'ed himself, now locked up.

I'd be more worried about 2004-2006 wheat snack bread from US MRE's. I throw them out on ground, for the blue-jays and raven/crows. They still fly.
