Re: PORK-FREE MRE

The existing line of halal mres already satisfy the conditions of "pork-free" as it is so exactly why this is even a thing baffles the mind.... Its like issuing a requirement/quotation for meat-free mre when there already exist vegetarian mres.... Reinventing the wheel? Hallal ration is the ration ...

Re: PORK-FREE MRE

I am curious as to why this would even be a thing when a line of halal rations already exists??? Or is it the laws in certain countries require rations with absolutely zero pork content, whether meat or byproducts? I imagine that Pork-Free MRE is what has packed the existing MRE components. Additio...

Re: Mislabled MREs

"Red Beans & Rice" exists in the Menu 2-C of HDR.
http://www.mreinfo.com/other-us-rations ... ly-ration/
And "Thai Chicken" may be a menu of MRE...

Your MREs may be the ration of an order specially.
I remember that the component of HDR were contained in "Menu C" MRE.

Re: Mislabled MREs

Hi,
They are very interesting :!:
Those bags are the things in 1988 to 1995 by the information on MREInfo.com.
http://www.mreinfo.com/mres/mre-bag-design/
http://www.mreinfo.com/mres/mre-menus/
However, "WESTERN BEANS" and "RED BEANS AND RICE" of paper labels don't exist in the menus of MRE...

Re: Strange WORNICK MRE

Yes, I think that a tan color bag and the address of Texas are the keys of that era!

Usually, since it is printed with a mere font, the logo of "THE WORNICK COMPANY" is interesting. :D

Re: Salad Bar

It's a report relevant to "Salad Bar":
https://www.army.mil/article/199240/

Vacuum Microwave Drying which is the technology of producing "Salad Bar" is very interesting.
I would like to eat a vacuum-microwave-dried cheeseburger. :D
I considered it as more suitable for LRP/MCW than MRE.
