Re: My shipment of 2010 MREs arrived!

Sadly it appears that they are still out of stock  With they way things are going, I am afraid I might not be able to resupply my stock when the time comes .

Re: more different mre pictures of my collection

Very nice pictures, thank you for sharing them :D I remember eating the old LRRP rations in the Boy Scouts many years ago, everything was freeze dried, but very tasty when rehydrated. I wish I had saved some of them, bit alas, they were too good to save it seemed :D

Re: Desert Surplus selling cold weather rations

Lol, at this point I guess that is part of their charm. I wonder what price they are selling them for in anyway? Might not be so bad for a collectors item I guess, but I wouldn't want to eat them.

Re: Whats your favorite MRE component?

That is a hard call, I seem to like just about everything. I know its not exactly from a MRE, but I really liked those little toffe chocolate disks found in the old C rats, suprisingly tasty after all those years. :)

Very nice pics, thank you for posting them!

I remember back in the day in the Boy Scouts, we had a few of those for camping trips, as I recall they were quite tasty. I think I may still have one or two unopened ones packed away somewhere.
