Re: Civilian Ration Comparison

A little surprised he didn't add Minotaur Trading Co. into the mix, but either way very informative and a video we all needed. I was also surprised how similar the Meal Kit Supply contents are to the US military's; I would not have expected theirs to be one of the closest in comparison but given th...

That’s a good sign! When I first saw this, and then saw that “no choice of dates” I was immediately suspicious they were selling older junk. Your post definitely put some of that suspicion aside.

Re: reccomend Brown Bags (and IMP menus)

Aim for something with the dehydrated fruit. Stuff is great.

As for IMPs. Depends on your taste. There are several reviews, and I have complete menu lists with components located under the International Ration forum.

Re: Canadian Sizing

The Canadian Sizes are kind of easy once you know the trick. The first number is the height of the individual, and the second is either the waist or chest. All in inches oddly enough

So 7228 is for someone who is 72” tall and has a 28” waists. Aka Beanstalk

Re: US MRE FRH packed in an extra pouch?

So initially I thought they use to do this somewhere around 2010 but you are right: there is no doubt that this Menu 17 Maple Sausage Patty is a 2017. I then thought it was old stock that they threw in there until i found an article about the purchase of TrueTech Inc and Innotech Inc in July 2014. T...

Re: Anyone here concealed carry? (LEGALLY OF COURSE). If so, what’s your EDC/preferred gun?

If Canada allowed concealed carry for the average joe, with proper qualifications ofc, I’d move there in a heartbeat (policy allowing). There is a small amount with a concealed carry but it’s impossible to get. You have to prove that the RCMP cannot protect you and your life is in danger. Rumour ha...
