Here's the link to the thread where a nice fella in Alaska has some for $120 a case shipped. Which is a great price imo at only $10 per meal.

Got a case from that guy a few months ago. Worked out well

Re: Irish MRE

I guess Gundog did a video about it. It's more or less UK ration, but very hard to get Mostly UK stuff. Done by the same company. Has some different variations though and Irish army specific info /headed paper. I have one almost intact of not entirely intact but its missing the crucial little sheet...

Re: 2015 MCW Beef Strogonoff

There is a serious amount of food in some of the MCW and LRP rations. The beef stew, chicken and rice and the stroganoff seem to always make the most.
Yeah the stroganoff is quite plain but the tabasco does the job if you want a bit of a kick to it

It's pretty tasty by mre standards. It's similar to the Mexican chicken stew but nicer and less watery so easier to eat without making a mess

Re: A durable watch?

Thanks for those replies guys. So far I seem to prefer those pro trek ones from what I've looked at about them. For some reason I don't enjoy the idea of your watch updating automatically by some sort of transmitter like the first one. I want to set my own damn watch :D On the subject of the bands, ...

A durable watch?

So somewhat off topic but related in a way.... Have any of you guys got a real world recommendation for a rugged/durable watch for use in both outdoor activities and for work in a rough physical job? Reasonable price as in not in the hundreds. I've not worn a watch in years, mainly due to not wantin...
