Huge props to koerky75 for having these rations! I got 2 from him and decided to review the one with the highest calorie content.

Aside from the fact that this thing is incredibly rare, it was also incredibly disappointing compared to the Type C I have already reviewed.

Important reminder for everyone of the D-Day event. No one has impressed me yet by stating they read one of the above books. Didn't realize we were supposed to try to impress you... I've got a Masters Degree in Military History, I've read more books on D-Day and WW2 in general than I could care to ...

To anyone out there who loved the freeze-dried Russian IRP-BS rations....these are just as good. Components are pretty much identical.

Interesting, I enjoyed it but I'd really like to try a fresh one.
