Re: British Patrol Packs?

I can see that the Blacked out part reads "UN Consumption only"

The weight and contents would mean that its a single meal pouch.

What is also odd is the TTI on it, looks like he took one off an MRE case and stuck it onto the pouch.

Here's some pictures my KK (Grandma) gave me. My mother still has the lederhosen he's wearing in the photo with the 2 German prostitutes 😁
Wouldnt be a good Family memory without some german prostitutes being involved.

Re: 30 years old EPa crackers & lard meat

Those old school crackers are always a cointoss, if you get really lucky and the vacuum seal is 110% intact they are still fine to eat.
Once you can shift the packaging abit, showing the seal is at least partially broken, they are rancid.

Hi Smitty ! Thanks for your support... Yes, I did a lot of research on the internet... But most of the pictures that I found lack the consistency (Most of the pictures are off-center, lighting is not the same etc...). Re: Is the XMRE Pizza and Bridgford Pizza the same?

Can someone explain to me the fascination with MRE pizza? Is it really that good? It just seems like the crust would end up soft and soggy after being heated. Perhaps I will just have to try it. 🧐 Its not exactly good, its just been an item that was wanted by the troops for over 20-30 years now, an...
