Re: 1980 B-2 Unit

And I gotta say, the old MCI Cocoa Beverage Powder is absolutely DIVINE! So creamy and smooth, nice cocoa flavor, and pairs perfectly with the salty crackers. I agree man, it really was a great formula and seems to have quite the shelf life! The 1974-80 B-2 Units were the best for that sweet & salt...

Re: 2002 #14 pasta in Alfredo Sauce

Cool review with that mermite container. That thing looks like it really does the trick keeping things chilled with that big rubber gasket. Love the overhead view from the UAV..! That pasta w/ alfredo having the heavy dairy in it - not really built to last. And considering how you keep everything pe...

Re: Food Packet Cold Weather

Nice score here out of that case. :D

It is a printing error. This is my bet.. said before an improper title.. an anomaly.. that's the most likely of the story.

Re: Spoiled jalapeno cheese?

I wonder if it was a pinhole? Good question Smitty, how are the rest of the components holding up?

Re: Museum Project Take Two

Hey Sean,

I've decided that it's in my best interest to officially part ways from this museum project and I'd like for my name to removed from the board at your earliest convenience.

Thanks so much and all the best,

-ST

Re: 1998 menu 11

Peanut Brittle Bar is just a Lance brand Peanut Bar that would be wrapped in an additional trilaminate pack for extended shelf life. It's not bad - gets caught in your teeth pretty easily though.

Well this post has been some awesome discussion. THIS is what I love most about the forum.

I agree, Smitty! This has been an excellent thread. Very much akin to some old school forum conversation.. doesn't get much better really.

Re: Food Packet Cold Weather

“Or are they just Meal Cold Weathers with an improper title?” Smitty alluded to this possibility. That is possible. Another way to put it would be, Fake News. The hunt for the answer to Food Packet Cold Weather's purpose still goes on. Thank you jfko6 for the insight on this and your previous posts...

Re: Museum Project Take Two

Great to see ya back Sean! Haven't heard from ya since March 2018, glad you're doing well! It's great to see traction back into the Ration Museum's progress. Don't forget links to the main site too, unless this isn't really current anymore - not sure. https://www.rationmuseum.com/ https://www.ration...
