Re: RCI - 1950’s Sealed Cigarette Packet

I would say DrPhat your cig packs are worth a minimum $150 each and max $300-$350. Your location.. how many RCIs are out there in Australia? How many Australian rations of that age are in the US? Location plays a part too. My first RCI cig pack find was in 2013 at Silvermoon drive in theaters Flea m...

Re: Vintage mre,rcw,lrrp items tread

Pic of those 98 LRPs were in postmans but they could be shared here too. 68 and 98. Almost had 3 banded cases of those early LRPs, but one was split open and the dude sold off singles. I calculated in the end, he woulda made $300 more had he just sold them to me sealed in the case still. Easier than...

Re: Happy kids eating C rations

A few more. Just wanted to add a few to the collection These two are great thanks for sharing Steph. I love how they're actually spoon feeding the kids some chow. Man, I dunno there's just such mixed emotions in all these too. Probably more tragedy than anything.. but rations again bring a little b...

Re: 1941 - Scho-Ka-Kola

Great post man, that is an absolutely incredible find right there too. I agree with sentient with a side by side to the modern being a neat idea. I remember it being darker, more dense/hard, a bit less thick, and a faint scent of chocolate, metal, and some musk type old smell. Congratulations on you...

Re: Coolest ration you own

Cortex your ration collection is maybe a bit small, but your collection of videos in what you've had firsthand experience on is already grown into a nice variety, and with some impressive acquisitions in that variety. I'm building a certain kit for you but some parts are just kinda not happening it ...

Re: Coolest ration you own

My most expensive photo. It was $98, I missed another WW1 ration photo, that went to like $300 of a soldier and his rations under a lean-to.. it was a spectacular post card.

And one of my favorite mugs.
