Re: 1990s ORP info?

I can't directly answer your question but I have only encountered the following Duncans flavors of chocolate in ORP's:

Milk Chocolate
Rasin and Cereal
Chocolate Rum and Raisin

Re: 1983 Orange nut cake

I really wish they would bring back these nut cakes! Perhaps one of the civilian producers of ration items would pick up production for us even in a limited run capacity. I bet they would sell very well!

Re: 1992 chicken and rice

I was not a fan of this menu as the chicken and rice tended to have bone bits in it! I can clearly remember encountering bits of bone at least 5-6 times.

Re: Civil Defense Survival Rations

There used to be some some pretty good surplus store just outside of JBLM in Lakewood area. I know two of them had so much stuff I have no idea how they knew what they had hidden in there. I even remember finding det-cord once!

Re: Fsr code date

The camouflage patterns on the FSR bags were referred to as follows; 1st Generation: Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP), also referred to as ACU by soldiers. 2nd Generation: Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP), also referred to as MultiCam by soldiers. Re: Vintage mre, rcw, lrrp items tread

Very hard to find these cases! IIRC when new they came packed with 40 rations.
